Do you often wish you had more time, money, love and happiness in your life?
Sometimes we are so busy on the daily treadmill of work, home, family, responsibilities and the daily grind of must do, must rush, hurry, hurry, that we forget to enjoy the journey. The years go by in an instant and we often look back and wonder what happened.
We all have the little voices in our head that are constantly chattering away, usually with any number of opposing points of view. I often imagine a little angel sitting on one shoulder and a little devil on the other. Of course, the angel is positive and uplifting whilst the devil is full of doom, gloom and negativity.
It is so easy to allow the force of the negative vibes to overpower the positive and most of the time we are blissfully unaware that this is happening.
When we take the time to stop and become aware of what we allow ourselves to dwell on, change happens. The influences we have been programmed with since childhood impact every day. However, are our thoughts the truth or limiting beliefs? Becoming aware of how powerful our thoughts are and how they impact on everything we do provides such insight. Especially when it comes to money, which is of course just an exchange of energy.
I encourage you to slow down and do a stock-take of where you are, where you want to be and how you want to live the rest of your life. Being grateful for what you already have is a huge step forward. Notice the magnificent sunset and the perfectly formed rose. Hear the joy and laughter of children and really feel that hug from a loved one.
When we choose to be happy NOW, we are more open to receive abundance. In my role as a financial plannner, I have seen time and time again, that the people who are vibrantly alive and enjoy every day, are the ones who are ready to create abundance in their lives and make their money work for them. In turn, they enjoy wonderful life experiences and are able to travel the world and pursue whatever is on their wish list.
If you constantly say to yourself that you are hopeless with money, make a conscious choice now by adding the words “in the past I was hopeless with money”. Then take a step forward to make a change and allow wonderful new possibilities to arise. Money certainly doesn’t buy happiness, but it helps you look for it in more places and provides more choices. If you need help, seek the assistance of a qualified financial planner who can work with you and help you achieve your goals and dreams.
